2016 Project with Chiaraque community

The Chiaraque community is located in the La Paz region of Bolivia, and the new footbridge is estimated to serve around 220 community members across two communities daily! Their livelihood is mainly derived from agriculture, livestock and a nearby mine. They grow mainly potatoes, barley and oats. By building this footbridge, the communities will have improved access to schools, markets and hospitals. UW B2P plans to build the footbridge alongside the community in the summer of 2016.
